Trotter Properties can make buying a home in Nevada County and Santa Clara County easy, whatever type of property you are searching for.
Lake Wildwood is a private gated community with approximately 2850 homes located in
the Sierra Foothills. It is about 1 hour north of Sacramento airport, 10 minutes from Grass Valley, and 3 hours from the bay area just off Hwy. 20 in Penn Valley. It is above the fog and below the snow lines and at a 2500 foot elevation makes it a wonderful place to call home.
“Vacation where you live”, is a phrase used frequently inside the community.
Lake Wildwood is a gorgeous wooded community built around an 18 hole championship golf course with a new clubhouse and private 300 acre lake. Many times you may find that you are the only one on the lake! The lake is great for water skiing, sailing, boating, swimming and fishing. There are five beaches and parks surrounding the lake with picnic tables and bbq pits. Commodore Park hosts a swimming pool and snack bar as well as a community center with meeting rooms, banquet room and full kitchen. The parks have facilities for bocce ball, pickleball, tennis, basketball, volleyball, softball or shuffleboard. 4th of July and the fabulous “Party at the Park” and fireworks is a big draw. The community comes out and celebrates in a big way with family games, food, music and honors a Lake Wildwood veteran every year. Weddings are a common scene on the weekends with the gorgeous lake as a backdrop.
You can be as active as you want to be with the myriad of clubs, concerts, classes and programs that abound. Homeowners in Lake Wildwood appreciate the 24 hour gated security keeping the crime rate very low. It is not a 55 and over community as all ages can be seen out and about walking, biking, playing or taking the bus to the elementary school within the grounds.
We’d love to show you how we “vacation where we live”!
