Steve Trotter
Before starting a career in real estate Steve spent over 20 years in the high tech industry in various executive positions. Some of these positions include President and Founder of Trotter Technologies, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Rainmaker Systems, President of Mobile Airwaves and World Wide Vice President of Sales and Marketing for GlobalWare.
Steve decided to make the switch to a career in real estate with one thing in mind, to help people in purchasing and selling their largest asset. A home is the single largest purchase most people will make in their lives. What Steve brings to the table is the business and negotiation skills and experience that is unprecedented in the real estate industry. Steve is pulling from all his experience and expertise to create a real estate service that makes every transaction as easy and seamless as possible for his clients.
Colleen Trotter
Having spent many years in the teaching profession as a teacher and substitute teacher, Colleen really understands the importance a good school district makes in the lives of the families she works with. She has the information readily available on the various schools in the area and will include a tour of the school should a client desire one. She creates a rapport with the children of her clients knowing that their happiness with the house counts in the decision factor as well. Colleen also spent many years with Houghton Mifflin, teaching teachers how to best utilize the new textbooks the school district purchased for them. Running from a presentation for ninety teachers in Evergreen School District at 10 a.m. down to Carmel for a district wide Pizza Night Presentation she organized at 3:30 p.m. truly gave Colleen the organizational skills she has today.
Colleen also has a soft spot in her heart for seniors. She has had the opportunity to place seniors in a variety of care situations as well as 55 and over communities. She loves the phone calls informing her how much they love their new home. Colleen also received her Senior Real Estate Specialist designation in December 2005. This will further enable her to access resources to better fulfill the needs of her senior clientele.
The Accredited Staging Professional is also another designation Colleen received in 2005. Staging has been around for over 30 years but not until recently has it been used regularly to increase the value of one's home. Steve and Colleen offer their staging services free of charge to their clients.
